Aversion to Advertising?

Many people cringe when they hear the word “advertisement.”  They think of interrupted music or Facebook videos.  Popups that make it impossible to read websites.  Or cheesy, sleazy sales pitches boasting false deal.  The reality is that we all have to advertise.  When looking for a new job or seeking a promotion, you advertise.  When your company is preparing to launch a new endeavor or bring in more customers, you advertise.  So why has advertising become a dirty word?

The answer: bad advertising.  Advertising has become synonymous with gimmicks, plugging, overstating, and hard-selling.

But if we only view the world of advertising through this narrow scope, we overlook and underrate the quality advertising that is a part of our everyday lives.

At Photo Lab Inc we have the privilege of helping individuals and corporations market their unique qualities without succumbing to the pitfalls of cheap sales tactics.  Using our vast experience in graphic design, imagery, and printing, we develop materials that are creative and specific to our client’s goals.

What does that look like?  Well, it varies from one situation to the next, as it should.  When it comes to compelling, original advertising, there can be no templates.  But it could be designing a mural, or printing imagery on an unusual material, like metal.  Some days it looks like large  format printing for a museum display, and other it looks like printing high quality family photos.

The real question is, what does your advertisement look like?  If you aren’t confident in the way your company is presented to our highly visual society, let’s change it.  Contact us online or at 800-452-4420 and we’ll show you another way to advertise.
